Terms of Service — Find-Money.com

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Find-Money.com, including its AI Financial Advisor, financial analysis tools, account integrations, and all related features (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

"Find-Money," "we," "our," or "us" refers to the operators of Find-Money.com. "You" or "user" refers to any individual accessing or using the Service.

1. Description of Service

Find-Money.com is an AI-powered personal financial management platform that helps users understand their financial health by securely analyzing connected financial information.

The Service includes tools for:

Cash Flow Analysis — Track income, expenses, and net monthly cash flow
Spending Analysis — Categorize transactions and identify spending patterns across merchants and categories
Debt Tracking — Monitor credit cards, personal loans, mortgages, and other liabilities; model avalanche and snowball payoff strategies
Investment Tracking — Track portfolios, brokerage accounts, retirement accounts, and real assets
Net Worth Monitoring — Calculate total assets minus total liabilities, updated as data changes
Financial Goals — Set and track progress toward savings targets, debt payoff milestones, emergency fund goals, and wealth-building objectives
AI Financial Advisor — Ask questions about your finances and receive personalized, data-driven insights based on your actual financial information
Document Analysis — Upload bank statements, credit card PDFs, and CSV exports for automated transaction extraction and analysis
Subscription Detection — Identify recurring charges and forgotten subscriptions you may wish to cancel
Personalized Financial Recommendations — Receive actionable suggestions based on your actual financial data, spending history, and stated goals

Find-Money.com is not a licensed financial advisor, broker-dealer, registered investment advisor, bank, credit union, or financial institution. The Service provides informational guidance based on data you provide and is not a substitute for professional financial advice. See Section 10 (Not Financial Advice) for full details.

2. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. By registering, you represent and agree that:

You are at least 18 years of age
You will provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep that information updated
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password and any multi-factor authentication codes
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorized by you
You will not share your account credentials or allow any other person to access your account
You will notify us immediately at support@find-money.com if you suspect unauthorized access to or use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently, in violation of these Terms, or in a manner that could harm other users or the integrity of the Service.

3. SMS Authentication

If you add a phone number to your account, Find-Money may send you SMS (text) messages for account security purposes. By checking the SMS consent checkbox when adding or confirming a phone number, you agree to the following terms.

Consent

Providing a phone number and checking the SMS consent checkbox is an affirmative, opt-in action. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any Find-Money subscription. We record the date, time, source (mobile app, website, or SMS reply), and — where applicable — the IP address of each consent action, and retain this record for as long as your account remains active plus a reasonable period thereafter to demonstrate compliance with applicable law.

What We Send

SMS messages from Find-Money are limited to:

Login verification codes
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) codes
Password reset verification codes
Fraud alerts
Other important account security notifications

Find-Money never sends marketing, promotional, advertising, sales, or affiliate messages by SMS, and never will. We do not sell or share your mobile number with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.

Message Frequency and Charges

Message frequency varies based on your account activity (logins, security events, and requested codes). Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.

STOP and HELP

Reply STOP to any Find-Money text message to immediately opt out. You will receive one confirmation message, and no further SMS messages will be sent to that number except as required by law.
Reply START to a number you previously opted out from to opt back in.
Reply HELP to any Find-Money text message for assistance, or contact support@find-money.com.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your phone number current and for any charges your mobile carrier applies to messages you receive. You must be the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you provide.

Opt-Out Consequences and Alternative Authentication

Opting out of SMS (via STOP, or by disabling SMS authentication in Settings → Security) stops all future SMS from Find-Money, including login codes, MFA, password reset codes, fraud alerts, and security notifications sent to that number. Email-based verification always remains available as a fallback authentication method, so opting out of SMS never locks you out of your account.

Managing your SMS preferences, including disabling SMS authentication or reviewing your consent status, is always available from Settings → Security → SMS Preferences or our public SMS help page.

4. Subscription and Payment

Find-Money.com is offered on a paid subscription basis, following a free trial period.

Available Plans

Monthly Plan — Billed monthly. Renews automatically each month on the same calendar date.
Annual Plan — Billed once per year at a discounted rate. Renews automatically each year.

Free Trial

New accounts include a 7-day free trial period. You will not be charged until the trial ends. If you cancel before the end of your trial, you will not be charged.

Billing and Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Find-Money does not store your payment card details directly. Your payment information is handled in accordance with Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
You authorize Find-Money to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice. Continued use after a price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new price.

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. No cancellation fee applies.
Upon cancellation, you retain access to the Service until the end of your current paid billing period.
We do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.

5. Your Financial Data

You retain full ownership of all financial information you provide to the Service, including data imported via Stripe Financial Connections or Plaid, uploaded documents, and information you enter manually.

By using the Service, you grant Find-Money a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license solely to process your financial information for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This license is limited to what is necessary to operate the Service on your behalf and is revocable by closing your account.

Your financial information is never sold to third parties under any circumstances
Your financial information is never used for advertising or shared with advertisers
Your financial information is processed only to deliver the features and functionality you request
You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of data you upload, manually enter, or connect to the Service through third-party integrations

6. Sign in with Google

Find-Money supports signing in with your Google Account using Google's OAuth 2.0 authentication system, as an alternative to signing in with Apple. This is used solely to authenticate you — Find-Money does not access your Gmail inbox or any other Google service.

What We Access

When you sign in with Google, Find-Money requests only your basic profile information — your name and email address — used to identify your account and personalize your experience within the Service.

What We Do Not Access

Signing in with Google does not grant Find-Money access to your Gmail inbox, Google Contacts, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Photos, or any other Google service.

Google Data Handling

Google account information is never sold to third parties
Google account information is never used for advertising or for any advertising-related purpose
Google account information is associated only with your Find-Money account and is not shared with other users or third parties

You may manage or revoke Find-Money's access from your Google Account security settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

7. Financial Account Connections

Find-Money uses Stripe Financial Connections to securely connect to your financial institutions for new and reconnected account links. Some accounts connected before this became our primary method may continue to operate through Plaid, an industry-standard financial data platform, until reconnected.

You authorize each financial institution connection individually within the secure interface provided by Stripe Financial Connections or, for legacy connections, Plaid
Find-Money never sees, receives, or stores your banking username, password, or multi-factor authentication credentials — Stripe Financial Connections or Plaid handles all authentication directly with your financial institution
All financial-institution connections are read-only — Find-Money can view your account balances, transaction history, and account information, but cannot initiate transfers, make payments, or perform any action on your accounts
You may disconnect any financial institution at any time from your Find-Money account settings under Settings → Integrations
Your use of these services is also governed by Stripe's End User Terms and, for legacy connections, Plaid's End User Privacy Policy

8. Data Retention and Deletion

You have full control over your connected integrations and the data stored in your account.

Disconnecting Individual Integrations

Disconnect a Financial Institution — Disconnect any linked financial institution (connected via Stripe Financial Connections or, for legacy connections, Plaid) at any time from Settings → Integrations. Transaction data already imported remains in your account until you delete it or close your account.
Remove Uploaded Documents — Delete any uploaded financial documents (PDFs, CSV files) from your account at any time.

Full Account Deletion

You may permanently delete your Find-Money account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Upon deletion:

All connected financial accounts (via Stripe Financial Connections or legacy Plaid connections) are disconnected
Your financial information, transaction history, AI conversation history, uploaded documents, and account settings are permanently deleted
Deletion is irreversible — we cannot recover deleted account data

Some information may be retained for a limited period where required by law, for fraud prevention, security investigations, or to resolve disputes. Backup systems may retain deleted data for up to 30 days before permanent removal. See our Privacy Policy for complete data retention details.

9. Security

We take the security of your financial information seriously and implement industry-standard safeguards, including:

Encryption in transit — All data transmitted between your device and Find-Money servers is encrypted using TLS 1.3
Encryption at rest — Sensitive financial information stored on our servers is encrypted using AES-256-GCM
Password security — Account passwords are hashed using Argon2id, a memory-hard algorithm designed to resist brute-force and dictionary attacks
OAuth 2.0 authentication — Google Account connections use the OAuth 2.0 industry standard; Find-Money never handles your Google credentials directly
Plaid-hosted authentication — Bank connections are completed entirely within Plaid's secure interface; Find-Money never receives your banking credentials
Session security — Authentication sessions use secure, HTTP-only, cryptographically signed cookies with automatic expiration
Access controls — Internal access to user data is restricted based on operational need
Secure cloud infrastructure — The Service is hosted on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure with physical and network security controls
Security monitoring — We monitor for suspicious access patterns and security anomalies on an ongoing basis

While we apply commercially reasonable security measures, no electronic system can guarantee absolute security. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your Find-Money account and to enable any available multi-factor authentication. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@find-money.com.

10. Not Financial Advice

The AI-generated insights, recommendations, analysis, and guidance provided through Find-Money.com are for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing within the Service constitutes or should be construed as:

Financial advice, financial planning services, or wealth management
Investment advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, asset, fund, or investment product
Legal advice of any kind
Tax advice, tax planning, or accounting guidance
Insurance advice or coverage recommendations
Loan approval recommendations, creditworthiness assessments, or credit advice
A guarantee of any specific financial result, return, or outcome

You are solely responsible for your own financial decisions. Find-Money.com is a data analysis tool designed to help you understand your financial information — it does not replace the advice of a licensed financial professional. We encourage you to consult a qualified financial advisor, certified public accountant, tax professional, or attorney before making significant financial decisions.

11. AI Financial Advisor

The AI Financial Advisor uses large language models to analyze your financial data and generate personalized insights and recommendations. By using the AI Financial Advisor, you acknowledge and agree that:

AI-generated responses are based on the financial data available at the time of the request and may occasionally be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate
AI language models may produce responses that sound confident but contain errors — you should apply your own judgment and verify important information independently
AI outputs do not constitute licensed financial, legal, tax, or investment advice (see Section 10)
You should independently verify any significant financial information before acting on it
Find-Money transmits the data necessary to generate your AI response — including your first and last name and a summary of your finances — to a third-party AI provider (currently Google Gemini, an artificial intelligence service provided by Google LLC); we ask for your explicit consent before this happens the first time, and you can review exactly what's sent and withdraw consent anytime in Settings ▸ Privacy ▸ AI Data Sharing
AI conversations may be retained to provide conversational continuity and to improve the quality of future responses

12. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

Use the Service for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, its underlying infrastructure, or any other user's account
Attempt to bypass, circumvent, or disable any security feature, authentication system, or access control
Use automated tools, bots, crawlers, scrapers, or scripts to access, extract, or interact with the Service without our express written permission
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code or underlying algorithms of the Service
Abuse or overload the AI Financial Advisor with repetitive, malicious, or adversarial inputs
Upload files containing malware, viruses, trojans, or any other malicious or harmful code
Misrepresent your identity, impersonate any person or entity, or provide false information when registering or using the Service
Create multiple accounts to circumvent subscription requirements, free trial limitations, or access restrictions
Use the Service to process or analyze data belonging to another person without their explicit, informed consent
Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination without prior notice.

13. Third-Party Services

Find-Money relies on trusted third-party providers to deliver the Service. Each provider operates under its own terms of service and privacy policy, which apply to your use of their services through Find-Money:

Stripe Financial Connections — Financial institution connectivity and account data aggregation for new and reconnected account links. See Stripe's End User Terms.
Plaid — Financial institution connectivity for accounts connected before Stripe Financial Connections became our primary method, until reconnected. See Plaid's Privacy Policy.
Stripe — Subscription billing and payment card processing for web checkout. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
RevenueCat — Subscription billing and payment processing for purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Telnyx — Secure delivery of authentication, MFA, password reset, fraud alert, and account security SMS messages. See Telnyx's Privacy Policy.
Google — Optional Sign in with Google authentication (OAuth 2.0). See Google's Privacy Policy.
AI Providers — Large language model inference for the AI Financial Advisor (currently Google Gemini, provided by Google LLC). The data necessary to generate your response — including your first and last name and a summary of your finances — is transmitted only after you give explicit consent; see Settings ▸ Privacy ▸ AI Data Sharing in the app.
Cloud Infrastructure Providers — Hosting, data storage, and compute infrastructure. Subject to enterprise-grade security and confidentiality agreements.
Email Service Providers — Delivery of transactional emails including account verification, password reset, multi-factor authentication codes, and billing notifications.

We are not responsible for the independent practices of third-party providers beyond our contractual agreements with them. We encourage you to review the relevant terms and privacy policies for any third-party service you interact with through Find-Money.

14. Google API Services User Data Policy

Find-Money's use of information received from Google APIs, limited to Sign in with Google authentication, complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy. Google account information is accessed only with your explicit authorization through Google's OAuth 2.0 consent flow, is used solely to authenticate you and identify your Find-Money account, is never transferred to third parties except as necessary to operate the Service or as required by law, and is never used or transferred for advertising purposes or to train AI or machine learning models.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Find-Money.com and its operators, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any:

Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind
Loss of income, revenue, profits, or business opportunity
Financial losses resulting from reliance on AI-generated recommendations or financial insights
Loss or corruption of data, or unauthorized access to your account not caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct
Interruptions to the Service due to scheduled maintenance, technical failures, third-party outages, or events beyond our reasonable control
Actions or omissions of third-party services, including Stripe Financial Connections, Plaid, Stripe, Google, or AI providers

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid to Find-Money in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion or limitation of certain types of damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times
AI-generated insights, recommendations, or financial calculations will be accurate, complete, or current
The Service will meet your specific financial requirements, objectives, or expectations
Data imported from third-party sources (Stripe Financial Connections, Plaid) will always be accurate, timely, or current
Any security vulnerability, defect, or error in the Service will be corrected within a specific timeframe

17. Termination

Termination by You

You may close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@find-money.com. Upon account closure, your subscription will not renew and your access will continue until the end of your current paid billing period.

Termination by Find-Money

We may suspend or permanently terminate your account, with or without prior notice, if we reasonably determine that you have:

Violated any provision of these Terms
Engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
Used the Service in a manner that creates risk or harm to other users, third parties, or the integrity of the platform

Effect of Termination

Your right to access and use the Service ends immediately upon account termination
Termination does not release you from any payment obligations incurred prior to termination
The following sections of these Terms survive termination: Sections 5, 6 (Google data handling provisions), 10, 14, 15, 16, and 18

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law in the jurisdiction in which Find-Money.com operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction in accordance with applicable law.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Service, legal requirements, or industry practices. We will provide at least 30 days' advance notice of material changes through one or more of the following:

A notice displayed within the Service
An email sent to your registered email address
An update to the "Last updated" date at the top of this page

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may close your account in accordance with Section 17.
