Everything you need to know about your free trial, billing, security, and how Find-Money works.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new account includes a 7-day free trial with full access to Find-Money. You can connect accounts, upload statements, explore your AI financial review, test the advisor, and see what opportunities are found before your subscription begins.
Why do I need to enter a card for the free trial?
A card is required to start the trial and set up billing securely through Stripe. You will not be charged during the 7-day trial, and you can cancel anytime before the trial ends.
What happens after my trial ends?
Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your selected plan begins automatically. You can choose monthly or annual billing — see the pricing cards above for current rates.
Do monthly and yearly plans include the same features?
Yes. Every plan includes the complete Find-Money experience. The only difference is how often you are billed. Annual billing gives you the best value.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel from your account settings at any time. If you cancel during your free trial, you will not be charged. If you cancel after billing begins, you keep access until the end of your current billing period.
Can I switch from monthly to yearly later?
Yes. You can switch plans from your account settings. Any billing adjustments are handled securely through Stripe.
Can I use Find-Money without connecting my bank?
Yes. You can manually enter accounts or upload PDF and CSV statements from your financial institutions. Plaid bank sync is available for automatic updates, but it is optional.
Do you store my bank login information?
No. When you use Plaid, your bank authentication is handled securely by Plaid. Find-Money does not store your bank username or password.
Is my financial data secure?
Yes. Your financial information is protected using industry-standard security practices, including encryption in transit and at rest. Find-Money does not sell your financial data.
How are payments handled?
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Find-Money does not store your card details.
How is Find-Money different from a budgeting app?
Most budgeting apps help you track what happened. Find-Money helps you decide what to do next. It analyzes your real financial data, finds opportunities, prioritizes your highest-impact actions, and explains each recommendation in plain English.
How is this different from ChatGPT or other AI tools?
Find-Money is built around your financial context. It uses your accounts, transactions, statements, debts, spending history, bills, and goals to provide personalized financial coaching and action plans instead of generic responses.
What kind of data does Find-Money use?
Find-Money analyzes the information you choose to provide, including connected accounts, uploaded statements, debts, income, expenses, subscriptions, bills, insurance policies, assets, and financial goals.
Can I upload credit card statements?
Yes. Find-Money can process PDF credit card statements to extract balances, APRs, interest charges, payment due dates, and promotional financing details. This helps improve debt records and payoff recommendations.
Can I upload insurance documents?
Yes. You can upload insurance policy PDFs so Find-Money can help summarize what you have, identify what may need review, and explain coverage details in plain English.
Does Find-Money move money or make trades for me?
No. Find-Money does not move money, make payments, place trades, or change your accounts. It provides analysis, coaching, and recommendations while you stay in control.
Is Find-Money giving licensed financial advice?
No. Find-Money provides financial coaching, education, insights, and decision support based on your financial data. It does not provide licensed investment, tax, legal, insurance, mortgage, or accounting advice.
